ODD lets the receiver know when a shipment is due to arrive and offers them a number of different delivery options
HOW IT WORKS
Within an hour of a shipment being collected, ODD informs the receiver of the estimated date of delivery via email and/or text message. The receiver can then choose how to have their shipment delivered if the original date or address is no longer suitable.
The customer will be emailed and/or SMS’ed regarding their shipment’s progress and with an estimated delivery date/time. If the delivery date/time does not fit the customer’s schedule, they will be able, free of charge, to choose the time and place for the delivery. This way, our customers will have a maximum flexibility and a greater control over receiving their orders.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF RESCHEDULING AND/OR DELIVERY
- Reschedule for another day
- Deliver to an alternative address
- Leave with a neighbour, reception or guard
- Leave in a safe place
- Delivery to a DHL Service Point or locker (hold for collection)
- Hold until the receiver returns from vacation (up to 30 days)
ODD requires a mobile telephone number and/or email address for us to be able to interact with the receiver. The options available to receivers can be selected by the shipper.Â
